Mark was born and raised in New Hampshire. He studied and received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Colby-Sawyer College in New London, NH in 1998. Mark then taught at the New Hampshire Institute of Art before relocating to Florida, where he pursued his career as a graphic designer. He then relocated to North Carolina and attended the Fire Academy in Durham. Mark worked as a firefighter for the city of Durham for 20 years. He began to battle PTSD and alcoholism during his time on the squad. After trying Carolina Hemp Company’s whole-spectrum hemp extract, his life changed overnight! Mark says, “If I can’t help people as a firefighter any longer, I want to help them by bringing balance into their lives through hemp.”
