Monica’s initial hemp journey began after using Liberty CBD Gummies and Carolina Hemp Naturals sublingual oil for stress. Her 32-year-old daughter, Christina, is a malignant tumor survivor. At the time, Monica and Christina were ordering their supplies online and picking up hemp products while visiting Asheville.

Monica’s friend, Freda (owner of the Rock Hill and Indian Land locations), began franchising and shared information regarding the opportunities Carolina Hemp Company offered. Monica says she spoke with a franchising team member, and then “it was on!”

“One day, I was looking into becoming a franchisee, and the next minute I was in my store–smiling and ecstatic that I’d done it! I now have my very own Carolina Hemp Company in Mint Hill, NC,” says Monica. She makes it her mission to interact with customers as if they’re family or an old friend. Her goal is to help relieve people (and animals) suffering from pain or stress. Monica loves helping all people and having conversations with them, because sometimes people just need a listener! “These days, everyone is going through something, and I love that I can educate them on hemp.
