WEST ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — A community aid drive in West Asheville is gathering food and supplies to support local emergency relief efforts.
Carolina Hemp is collecting non-perishable items and cooking essentials, as well as toiletries and health and wellness products.
The program director said the effort falls right in line with the company’s mission of bringing balance through hemp.
“Hemp nourishes the body and nourishes the planet, and this is our way of taking that one step further to nourish our community,” Carolina Hemp’s Miranda Michaels said.
The drive happens from noon-6 p.m. every Wednesday at Beacham’s Curve on Haywood Road in West Asheville.
